Respect for the environment has always been a dear subject to Mariotti and its management want coherence throughout every phase of the activity, from the production to the sale steps.

Mariotti has also set great attention towards subjects which are not yet good known, but could affect the future situation: our behaviour today should not lead to harmful consequences for health and nature.

Superior treatment is carried out using an ecological, water based product. On this way the products is healthy and the tiles can still "breath". In fact Mariotti have chosen to avoid any chemical or resinal-based products because they are considered unhealthy for workers and for end users.

The packing is strictly made on EURO/E-PAL pallets. Thank to their particularly stable structure, they can be exchanged or re-used instead of having to be discarded.

Mariotti carries out studies aimed to avoid the slam (the waste originated from the honing processes) and looks for a way to recycle it. In fact, this inert and noble product can be recycled in many environmental fields.

It is well-known that some natural granites contain radioactivity. Mariotti tiles, even if made of granite-grits, are provided with a Certification, which attests the absolut absence of radioactivity.
